I lacked in passion for something. I didn't know what it was. I know now. Not just photography, but helping mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles. Helping them understand. Helping them find resources. Helping them to gain skills. Parenting a child with special needs is not easy. It is even harder if you have no one to turn to for advice. I want to share my experiences with you. In return, I want to hear your experiences. I do not know everything, nor do I claim to. But I want to know more, and I want YOU to know more. So, please, Lets help each other, and others around us. I am just a mother. A mother to 2 amazing children. And I want to reach out to you.
“Making the decision to have a child –it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” –Elizabeth Stone
“We salute our sisters for the joy that is theirs as they rejoice in a baby’s first smile and as they listen with eager ear to a child’s first day at school… Women, more quickly than others, will understand the possible dangers when the word self is militantly placed before other words like fulfillment. They rock a sobbing child without wondering if today’s world is passing them by because they know they hold tomorrow tightly in their arms.” –Neal A. Maxwell
